Ka Lã Hiki Ola Translates to “The day of new life and hope”
About Us
Founded in 2023, Ka Lā Hiki Ola is a Hawaiian dance ʻohana (family) based in the Alamo Ranch area of San Antonio. Our purpose is to share the spirit of aloha while preserving the rich traditions of Hawaiʻi through hula kahiko (ancient hula) and hula ʻauana (modern hula). Every performance is more than entertainment, it is a cultural journey. Through movement, chant, and mele (song), we honor Hawaiian stories, language, and values, inviting audiences to feel the mana (spiritual power) of Hawaiʻi and carry its lessons of love, respect, and resilience into their own lives.
